Guest guest
: My neurosurgeon has all plagio cases checked out by a pediatric vision specialist. They check for vision field neglect. He explained to us that sometimes the plagio can cause a baby to neglect one side or the other of their field of vision, especially if you have flattening to one side instead of the back. I think it may be related to tort has well, but the neuro did not say that - I am just assuming. does not seem to have any problem with this, but I know several other people that have had this situation. Hope this helps. Marci (Mom to 1/12/00)
Guest guest
It is so ironic that you posted this. We have an appointment with a pediatric opthamologist on Thurs. 's one eye seems to wonder a very little bit. I never thought that there was a connection! Maybe we are discovering something that the doctors don't know yet! With , I hope it is nothing and that I am just being too cautious. Let me know if you find any connection. Laurie ('s mom)

Guest guest
I've been thinking that my has a " lazy eye " , but I seem to be the only one that notices it. If I wanted to have her checked, what kind of doctor should I take her to? Becky & (5/4/00, banded since 10/13/00) Plano, TX lgins1997@... wrote: > > It is so ironic that you posted this. Guest guest
Hi, we thought my son's eye was turning in when he was about 5 months old, but we found out it's pseudostrabismus.. just looks that way.. because of his asymmetry and that eye having the inner canthus fold making it " smaller " than the other eye. good luck! diane lgins1997@... wrote: > It is so ironic that you posted this. Guest guest
Becky: A regular optometrist should be able to help. If he thinks there are greater concerns, he will probably send you off to an opthamologist. I would suggest you go and have her eyes checked. just my . 02 There are a lot of connections between plagio and strambisus. Whether it was the chicken or the egg, who knows??
