Guest guest
Hi, We are in the boat and get all of our stuff compounded to be GFCF and preservative free (even acetominaphin since DS can't take dye free motrin). The only thing that I've found is this and it really works for us (does make DS's stool a tiny bit loose and goes a bit more frequently but nothing awful...): Bronchial Soothe; Ivy Leaf Syrup Label includes the following info: *Naturally supports clear bronchial passages *Ingredients: English Ivy (hedera helix) leaf extract standardized to contain 9mg of hederacoside C; purified water; vegetable glyceral; frutose; natural flavors; surcose laurate; potassium sorbate and citric acid. *Contains no yeast, wheat, gluten, soy, corn, dairy products, artificial colors or artificial flavors. *Manufactured by Zeller Inc for Enzymatic Therapy Inc in Green Bay WI * www.enzy.com / 1-800-783-2286 We bought ours at a local organic whole foods store and the syrup tastes like really strong ice tea. Not my son's favorite thing in the world but he has little / no problem w/ the taste / taking it. Also, our Developmental Pediatrician reviewed Vick's Vapo Steam liquid w/ me and said that it is safe to use - you do not drink this - you pour it in water and the vapors clear passageways and soothe coughs. Hope that this helps. Tina <jtlgartrell@...> wrote: I've been lurking around here for many months and have recently started Andy's chelation protocol with my son. (Who is responding nicely btw ) My son recently acquired a viral infection from me and I wanted to give him something to provide him some relief so he can sleep tonight. Any thoughts or warning about decongestants/cough suppressants? I have a slew of OTC kids meds in my cabinets that are unopened because I'm afraid of nasty side effects. Any help would be a huge blessing! Thanks Blessings, Tina (Luke's Mommy) __________________________________________________
Guest guest
We have never been able to use Decongestants with our daughter, but have used Musinex that thins and drains. I couple that with vicks vapor rub and it seems to do the trick. Good luck, Tina <jtlgartrell@...> wrote: I've been lurking around here for many months and have recently started Andy's chelation protocol with my son.
