Guest guest
>>The rash is way less inflamed, but my little guy is now orange. > He gets no Vit A other than what is in his diet. My son did not tolerate any foods that were orange or green. His body could not convert carotenes into vitamin A. It took ALA chelation, selenium, zinc, vitamin C, and a few other things. A book I have also lists thyroid hormone as required to convert carotenes. > Kids that don't process Vit A can't do a Vit A protocol, right? Any > way to change that? I did high dose vitamin A protocol with my son, before his body converted carotenes. It was " straight vitamin A " , not requiring conversion. http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm Dana

Guest guest
If I am only giving 10,000 iu's a day and he is having pimple like bumps on his chest and the sides of his face, that wouldn't be from the Vit. A, right? Probably teenage acne? Â Thanks for the info. A, right? If you suspect it might be, drop the A for a week, see if it goes awway. " Only 10,000 IU " is not necessarily a small dose. For some kids it may not be sufficient, for others it may be too much. >>Probably teenage acne? At my house, most acne is caused by yeast overgrowth.
