Sue, Sorry if you've been over this, but what's your yeast/bacteria/gut protocol? I struggled through that mess by giving Biocidin for three months, Ojibwa tea whenever I could, along with GSE, oil of oregano, caprylic acid, Thorne's SF722 (often 2 of these a day, with no breaks). Plus a low sugar/low carb diet and tons of Houston enzymes. Plus taking, as you are, plenty of breaks -- so when gut issues got totally out of control, I'd wait a week or two before another round, until his gut was still bad but not ridiculously bad, and then sneak in another round. From parent reports it looks like TD doesn't relieve the gut problems because the metals are excreted through the gut in any case, no matter how the chelator enters the body. One last thing -- my son's OAT looked so-so back when his behavior was horrible and his response to antifungals and antibacterials was very strong. Now that he is nearly recovered, he still gets some yeast but his behavior isn't nearly as awful -- but his OAT is a disaster. I'm not sure what to conclude from that, except that the tests are not necessarily that helpful. Nell
