Please avoid challenges in the future. Is he taking vitamin C? What other

supplements is he on? What's his diet like? Make sure he is drinking lots of

fluids. Will he let you massage his abdomen or the reflexology areas of the

hands and feet related to the intestines? As tempting as it is, trying to speed

up the process of chelation causes problems and setbacks, as you now know.

My son did his 1st round of DMPS last weekend, including a
challenge dose for his usual tests for our DAN! doc. I thought it
more sensible to do the challenge in the middle of a round so gave a
higher amount (125mg) then did the 6hr post prov urine challenge
then returned to the 12.5mg he was on evry eight hours for four days
and nights.
He has been chelating for 1 and a half years with DMSA for the past
few months on the Cutler protocol which has been working better for
him. Spmething has gone badly wrong since we started the DMPS
though, he HAS BEEN CHRONICALLY CONSTIPATED, needing enemas to
function at all, and we finished the round on and he developed this
awful raised pimply really itchy rash all over his trunk which has
got worse as the week has gone on (he finished the round on Mon
night) I don't want to use DMPS again, I only asked for it as I know
he is very high in mercury and as he is going on 9 we want it out
yestersay! I have been supporting him with Milk thistle and
dandelion. What else can I do please? should I continue this weekend
with the normal 3 hrly Cutler protocol with the DMSA/ALA to try to
mop up any Hg floating around. I have tried to use my best
judgement, it took a while to realise the constipation could be
linked to the chelator as DMSa usually makes him looser. please help!
When the liver and kidneys get overloaded, the body detoxes through the skin.

Since he's constipated, his body is probably trying to get rid of the mercury

through the skin. Have you tried epsom salt baths?
