Where do you get this testing done, if you don't mind me asking, (ie

what lab did this for you)?

[ ] Genetic Oxidative damage test results ...Help

I just got results of my 15 yo son's urinary oxidized nucleosides test.

DNA 31 nM (adult ref. range 8-22)

RNA 35 nM

Interpretation : Moderately high urinary 8-OXO-Deoxyguanosine,

reflecting increased DNA oxidative damage.

urinary pterins; moderately increased cellular immunity activation

urinary NEOPTERIN 209 ref. range 110-180

urinary BIOPTERIN 91

BIOPT/NEOPT ratio .39 ref.range .4-.6

moderately decreased Biopterin/Neopterinratio < 1

urinary creatinin 2 536 mg/1

My question is, How do I reduce or reverse the damage to his DNA/RNA?

Will mega doses of anti-oxidants help? What about HBOT?

Chelation?...ALL of the above?...more?

Any and all insights, suggestions appreciated, Lindy
