For smoothies I have one of those wand mixer things, I think Kitchen

Aid, where I just load up the container with ice, kefir, some

pineapple juice, a boatload of flax oil, a little honey, plunge in the

wand and let 'er rip. I love that thing.

Thank you Barb. I was hoping that there would be some good reviews on it.

I don't' know anyone that has one... except the Jamba Juice

establishments... and if I could make our own smoothies like they do it

would save us a lot of money.

We have both an older (my husband's) Vitamix with the spouted metal " pitcher "

and the one without a spout, as well as a Champion Juicer. The newer Vitamixes

have plastic pitchers which we've heard are not as good, but the company

continues to service the older metal ones. We use the Vitamix an average of

one or more times per day for smoothies, soups, and GF flours. I used my

Champion a lot before we got married and we still use it for carrot juice in

particular. I don't have the grain mill for the Champion.
