Guest guest Posted December 10, 2006 Report Share Posted December 10, 2006 I think you mean Moria. Consider doing a DDI hair elements test and applying counting rules, as described in the FAQs of this list and in Andy Cutler's book " Hair Test Interpreting " . If you believe he has high mercury and he has NO mercury amalgam dental fillings you can do a trial of chelation using Andy Cutler's protocol and see what happens. S S
Hi Miaora;
We received a hair test result back from the above and it says there
are no toxic elements, but we beleive our grandson has high mercury,
which is causing slow metabolism and low thyroid.this is not a DDI test
but the above trace elements.How do we find out if it is high mercury
if a hair test doesnt pick it up?We want to start him on DMSA and then
ALA soon. Please help if you can. thanks Joyce
_______________________________________________ Join Excite! - http://www.excite.com The most personalized portal on the Web! Guest guest Posted December 10, 2006 Report Share Posted December 10, 2006 Also, it is not likely any hair test will show high mercury as you describe. In fact, it usually shows very low levels. A DDI test would tell, as you can see adrenal disruption, thyroid disruption, and abnormal minerals levels. If you do not wish to run the other test, you can always try a few rounds of dmsa and see if he does well on it. If this child was vaccinated, his mother had metal fillings while pregnant/nursing, mom ate fish while pregnant, etc, it is very likely he has mercury. We did the test because we suspected Hg in my son. The results were very surprising. Well worth the $93 or so. He ended up being toxic in a whole bunch of metals, and Hg was only a minimal problem behind it all. > > Hi Miaora; > We received a hair test result back from the above and it says there > are no toxic elements, but we beleive our grandson has high mercury, > which is causing slow metabolism and low thyroid.this is not a DDI test > but the above trace elements.How do we find out if it is high mercury > if a hair test doesnt pick it up?We want to start him on DMSA and then > ALA soon.
