High Copper

Hi there,

I have just been reading through some past posts for HIGH copper.

We have completed 2 rounds of DMSA (1/4 dose), one 3 day, one 5

day. I just received my hair results back, however have not

received my hair book yet. My 4 1/2 year old 38 lbs is off the

charts in copper. I know that increasing the zinc and Molybdenum is

suggested. I also saw posts of giving Taurine, glycine, milk

thistle and TAPS. He currently takes Zinc mono 75 mg, Moly 300 mcg,

milk thistle 150 mg plus Liverlife. I am going to list his results

below so if anyone has any recommendations as far as supplementing

him to reduce the Copper that would be wonderful. After round 2 of

chelation (5 days), 2 days after he broke out in a bad case of hives

and is still getting a few hives a couple times a day. We haven't

chelated since. I know Andy says you can chelate with DMSA if high

in copper, but doesn't suggest chelating with ALA, is this correct?

My other question is his test results show .17 for Molybdenum with

reference of .050-.13. This is a little high so would you suggest

increasing for the copper even though this is high. Thanks in

advance for any help.
