There have been a LOT of false negatives with the porphyrin testing. I wouldn't

consider it to be accurate until it was repeated 3 times and found to be

negative.

People have sent the testing in, kid tests negative, send it in again, they test

positive.

[ ] Porphyrin Test Shows No Toxicity -- STOP CHELATING?

-- Advice Please

BACKGROUND:

My wife has been chelating for about 7 months (AC protocal, DMSA).

She has the MTHFR genetic defect. About 11 years ago (at age 20)

she received multiple vaccinations with Thimerosal. She was

vaccinated because we could not find her vaccination records and

thought it was easier to just vaccinate -- what a mistake!

Some doctors have suggested the vaccinations lead to her infertility

issues. Her initial Porphyrins test (7 months ago) showed her to be

toxic. Her recent Porphyrins test (after chelating) showed her to

be NON-TOXIC.

We are considering having another child and wanted to make sure she

is not toxic before trying to conceive.

QUESTION:

Since the Porphyrins test shows her to be non-toxic, does this mean

that all the mercury/heavy is out? It just seems too soon to be

detoxified.

Should we continue to chelate?

Thanking all in advance.

I would test again just to be sure it's not a false negative.

you have to chelate for at least 18 months with ALA before even thinking about

stopping.

I don't believe this concept relates to reality.

No it didn't. Even if it is not a false negative, it showed her LIVER to be OK,

not her

hypthalamus, pituitary and ovaries which are more of concern.

Yes, and add alpha lipoic acid right away, too.
