I was told by a sales rep of one of the detox baths that the water will turn

the rusty color even if there are no feet or body parts in the water. He still

felt (or was trying to convince me) that they worked. I tried a few on my

son, who definitely felt...something. He said the baths hurt/stung his feet, and

he kept wanting to take them out. He was allowed to lower the dial to a lower

frequency, which helped.

I have read occasional online stories from parents who really felt these

helped their children, but I need more proof before jumping in.

HI April

I have heard of those foot detox things, but then was watching one of those

YouTube videos where the mother did them with her 4 year old son and he

regressed to almost totally non verbal. I often wonder if we start moving stuff

around in someone's bloodstream if we are not doing more harm than good? I will

look for the link and send it along. I don't think I'd do any of these things

without a doctor available for immediate assistance if something unexpected

happened.

I have read that these do not work. But then I have heard people say

they do. I am not sure what metals you would remove with it. Search

onibasu to see what Andy may have said about them.

I witnessed a demonstration and lecture on these. There were two types,

different by the type of anodes used(plate metal). This difference was in the

mixture of metals in the stainless steel. I am a licensed marine engineer and am

familiar with the electronics and metallurgy used. The plates are suspended into

a salt brine solution along with your feet. An electrical current is passed

through the plates and solution. It was discussed that the reason the water

turns dark colored was because of the toxins coming out.

It was said that with the original formula plates, they would last only about

12 to 15 treatments before needing replacement.Yet, when the newer upgraded

plates were used they had a much longer life expectancy. They did not create the

observed colors that the original plates created. The appearance of the dark

colored water to me, looked surprisingly like 'rusty bilge water' which I have

seen too many times during my 25 years around saltwater. I payed close attention

to the discoloration while my feet were in the solution. What I witnessed was

the color emerging from the plates and not from my feet.

My conclusion was that the color in the water was rust. Contrary to public

perception, many stainless steel metals can and do rust and do not hold up well

in salt water. This left me with a less than convincing impression of the Foot

Detox method.

I have tried these on myself and I definitely felt better from them. I have

not tried them on my affected son.

April,

I have done the Ionic foot baths with myself and my son. It has many

benefits- It helped with his stimming, tics and Blood Sugars. I took

pictures of the water each time, some really gross stuff comes out,

especially from the liver. Heavy metals are black specks, sometimes

it all floats and sometimes it all sinks.

It will even pull out parasites. I took a sample home once and put

it under a microscope, very ineresting. I'm actually getting ready

to schedule some more sessions - we've been doing it about a session

group every 6 months.

If anyone wants to see any of the pictures (mine and my sons) just e-

mail me and I'll either see if ok to post them or send them to you

directly.

Best of luck.

what I found on the web concerning LL magnetic clay...not sure what sort of docs

use terminology like " way faster " but I'm giving the clay a try

" ...I have put a huge number of patients on these clay baths and the levels of

heavy metals - mercury, lead, arsenic, aluminum, and cadmium have come down

dramatically...I have been monitoring the levels of metals using all three

methods (TD DMPS, oral DMSA and clay baths)and the clay baths are way faster in

the removal of metals " .

Clay does not remove metals, I wish it did, so much easier than chelation we

have 30 acres of clay soil could just throw her out the back door. Clay won't

hurt but I wouldn't hang my hat on it.

I haven't tried that but I'm going to try the LL magnetic clay bath (on myself

first, of course). A DAN doc in CA insists it works better than DMSA. My DAN

doc said to try it and see what happens. Keep us posted on the ionic foot detox

bath and I'll do the same.
