Guest guest
25,000 IU of Vitamin A from CLO probably gives you too much Vitamin D. Guest guest
I'm sure this sounds ignorant -- but what's the harm of too much vitamin A? I meant Vitamin D? anneecbrynn <anneecbrynn@...> wrote: 25,000 IU of Vitamin A from CLO probably gives you too much Vitamin D. Anne > > > I just completed a 2-day, high-dose Vitamin A protocal. Guest guest
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/002405.htm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitamin_D#Overdose Here are some links to Vitamin D information. You might check to see how much Vitamin D your 25000 IU of CLO gives and compare that to the recommended upper limit for children. I know that if I gave my little guy 25000 IU of A from his CLO he would get 2500 IU of D, which is above the upper limit (per Wikipedia) for children. Considering that we also get D from other sources..... If you want to run A at 25000IU, which depending on you child's weight, is possibly a very good idea, you might look to some other form of A to supplement a reduced amount of CLO. Try experimenting with the dose. Watch for signs of toxicity http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm Dana
