How much comes out is variable. Sometimes very poisoned people get low or zero results. Clearly your daughter has mercury, and chelation is probably a good idea. A hair test is by far a better, safer, less invasive, and more informative test. --
Guest guest
Chelation challenges are a really bad idea due to the high single dose. You risk pushing the toxins into the brain. Please read the FAQs of this list. Impreovement in behavior is much more important than numbers. Have you identified and reduced/removed her sources of exposure. Please let us she has NO mercury amalgam dental fillings. S S
My daugher scored 430 Mercury against creanitne on 1st DMPS IV 3hours
urine challenge. She only scored 4 on DMPS transdermal. Guest guest
I have done Buttar's lotion 30 drops for challenge test. Mercyry on Doctor's Data Urine Toxic Metlals socre 1.1 on 1st (reference <5) and after four months only 4 (within reference range). Since her hair mercury was showing extremely high 11 (reference < 0.4), I susupected that transdermal is not working for her. So I switched to DMPS IV 4ml (250mg/7ml). Then she scored 430 (reference < 5).That means IV is 100x more effective taking out mercury than lotion. After 15th IV Challenge she still score 100. Doctor think I should continue chelation till number goes below 30. Don't know how long will it take. Anybody completed chelation tell me how long did it take for your kids? Yes, there is very big jump one months after we switch into IV. > > > > My daugher scored 430 Mercury against creanitne on 1st DMPS IV 3hours > > urine challenge. Anybody completed chelation tell > me how long did it take for your kids? I did not do IV chelation, I did oral ALA. It took 100 rounds, almost every weekend, for 2-1/4 years for my kids. Guest guest
She gets hyper on the first day after IV and very bad tantrum on the day 3. She nonstop screamed and violent, so I took her out to big park wholeday so she would not get hurt hitting furniture or break windows. 2nd IV also same reaction. I almost in tears and dropped the treatment. Doctor add very high anti-oxidant and milktistle, so from 3rd IV, things were not so bad. Since I have tried so many treatment in the past 5 years without any sucess I could not easily give up something she needs. Anyway heavy metal is bad for your body even it may not the cause of autism. She started to imporve very slowly. After 5th IV, we went back to school. (It was X'mas holiday for one month). School revised up all of her IEP, saying she is completely differnt. She understands so much and very complient. Speach Therapist wanted to know what I have done to her, she imporved so much in such a short period. Six month later, her teacher suggested I should change school because she is too good. Her imporvement is too slow to me but this tratment made biggest imporvement to her. She shocked me last week because she looked at me and said " How old are you? " ( She was non-verbal before.) > > > > My daugher scored 430 Mercury against creanitne on 1st DMPS IV 3hours > > urine challenge. She only scored 4 on DMPS transdermal. (not working at > > all!)
