Guest guest
Hi, everyone- We're on our 4 th round of DMSA alone. 1st 2 rounds we did oral, my son was wiped out and ended up with horrible GI problems that took at least a week to clear up each time (diarrhea, bloating, yeast). These last 2 rounds we're doing transdermal, and while he is not wiped out (actually looks great!!), he still gets powdery, gassy poop about 24 hrs into it. I am dosing 25 mg every 3 hrs/day every 4hrs/night. We do a round about every 1.5- 2 weeks so far. He is about 48 lbs and almost 6. Is there anything I can supplement to make this easier on him GI wise? Or should I just dose lower? He's already on about every supplement known to man. Tons of yeast killers, probiotics, multivitamin, extra C,minerals, herbs for the gut, etc. Also lots of milk thistle and dandelion. His stools get pale without those. He's also on Lupron and Famvir (antiviral) so while on chelation, his liver has a lot of work to do, I'd imagine. And why would TD give him diarrhea so fast, too? Could it be metals moving out the bowel, too? We're pulling lots of nickel in urine, a tiny bit of lead, that's all so far. We run urines every round. Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!!!!!
