While not an expert here, I do think the mercury takes more time to

show. Usually, after most of the other toxins are gone. It hides

better in the body, mainly in the brain. I am not sure what to do

with uranium. I myself have a lot of it. The only research I could

find on that said that baking soda removed uranium. This is what the

government is using. I have no idea how to dose it or if you even

should. I have not tried it yet myself. (anyone else chime in if you

know)

Arsenic: Have you checked for other sources? Lawn treatments often

have arsenic in them to kill weeds and bugs. It can be in livestock

antibiotics..(for us that means chicken), herbicides, insecticides,

well water, treated lumber, enviornmental pollution. Dana's site

says that Garlic may possibly help with arsenic. But it has a

question mark next to it. Has it been low at all, ever? Or does it

stay in the yellow or higher? I do know it takes years to chelate

and remove most of this stuff. I don't know how long you have been

chelating.

I would also keep in mind that most of the testing you do in the

first few years are going to show what he is dumping out. This may

be why his arsenic is so high. Many people I have talked with said

that the mercury comes out towards the end. It does inhibit the

normal detoxing of other toxins, thus the reason they get so high in

arsenic, and others in the first place is because the mercury is

present.

Bear in mind also, that mercury is primarily excreted in the feces.

I am not sure if this was helpful at all, but best wishes!

ALA chelates arsenic.

I'm an adult chelating with oral ALA on average maybe one weekend a month. My

arsenic (DDI hair test) remained off-the-charts high for several years and

finally on the last hair test (a year and a couple months ago) it was down into

the yellow. I just sent off another hair test and am anxious to see what it

shows. I was also mercury toxic and no longer met the counting rules several

hair tests ago (generally about a year apart.

We keep getting arsenic. It has been elevated for the past 10
months and does not seem to want to go away. A few times it has
dropped from off the charts to yellow on fecal, but generally stays
off the page. Little to nothing in urine.

Mercury has not been very high. This is annoying and makes us
wonder what is going on. How long does it take for arsenic to come
out? Does arsenic precede mercury? I have read it both ways that
it does and that it does not. Our best guess is that the arsenic
came from shell fish which suggests that the mercury load should be
very high, but we don't see it.

What helps arsenic come out faster? We are 3/4 oral DMSA & ALA 1
mg/kg each DMSA & ALA. Are there more effective brands of DMSA or
ALA?

Hair uranium is also very high. What helps U come out? AC mentions
iron. Any suggestions on type of Fe and dosage?
if you eat a lot of chicken you might want to check out whether or not yours

has arsenic. Arsenic is commonly used in raising (even organic) chickens.

Arsenic was our biggest toxin since we lived on a golf course where they

sprayed MSMA. I was also amazed at how much came out and how long it took. I

took just over three years of chelation to get to the point where the levels

weren't elevated. We also had a few tests where it dropped only to see it much

higher the next round. One thing I learned towards the end of the process was

that ball fields are often sprayed with MSMA. Since my son played baseball

towards the end of chelation, I suspect some of his elevated levels in the end

were due to more recent exposure.

DMPS was much more effective at removing arsenic for both of us than DMSA,

although DMSA removed it as well.
