We're on a bunch of supplements already......what are the best supplements to add that might help deal with these fumes? Yes, we're in contact with school about ventillation and everything......but in the meantime......... Thanks-

Guest guest
Why didn't they do all this during summer break? Though I suppose that would be unfair to those in summer school. Guest guest
Hi Speaking as someone who has severe MCS and who has friends with MCS who have children with MCS and/or neurological problems, it always amazes me at the ignorance of school officials. A friend had to threaten the school with legal action if they did not stop exposing her child to toxic fumes all day. The school contracts these things out and the school board is told these jobs will be done in the summer when the majority of kids are on break, but a more lucrative job comes along or weather is not cooperative, etc. and the school is dropped lower on the list. My friend did finally manage to make it clear that the school's negligence in forcing the contracted company to paint when school was not in session was inexcusable and if they did not act she would seek support from other parents and teachers regarding legal action. It is not good for anyone's child to be exposed to these things. My friends campaign did have positive results and she was thanked by other moms and teachers alike, two of those teachers being pregnant and concerned about their unborn children. I am not suggesting you have an all out war with the school board, but perhaps you can get someone at the school board to listen regarding your concern for your child. Sorry for ranting a bit, but bureaucratic ignorance/apathy is so angering.
