Exactly...I would think if she is breastfeeding she would NOT want to

use a chelator because it would pull more out, whereas the milk

thistle is known to be good for breastfeeding anyway (from the very

little reading I did!) and will help any mercury that is coming out

of the fillings be excreted rather than building up.

In CO and in many others, this is the case but if you own a cow, they

can't really stop you from drinking the raw milk. So instead of

buying raw milk, people buy a share of a cow - which someone else

takes care of for them, and milks, and provides them with the share

of the milk from that cow :) Essentially buying raw milk but not technically.

I've only see it associated with organic cows, simple because the

people that want raw milk wouldn't want anything less....but best to

check of course.

I think I'd like to try milk thistle for myself (to help me and my

nursing baby) and I'd also like to start giving it to my 2 1/2 yo

son. Is there a formula to go by to figure out dosing? My 2 1/2 yo

weighs roughly 35 pounds and I weigh...a whole lot more than

that. :)

TIA,

Kathy in Florida

Hi Kathy,

The dosing info on wupplement bottles is generally based upon a 150 lb adult.

Around 1/5 of that would be about what to give your son.
