,

How much white tea do you drink to get the effects? Is there a way

to tell how many mgs of L-theanine is in what you drink? Is it hard

to find 100% white tea? Is it organic?

Plus, how long do the calming effects last?

I Appreciate it!

Pam, I drink just 1 cup, and a short time later, i feel both mellow and

alert, at least what passes for mellow and alert for me nowadays!

I have no idea how much theanine is in 1 cup of white tea, but maybe it can

be looked up on google.

I havent found 100% white tea in the regular grocery store (grocery store

has a mix of green and white), but I easily found 100% white in a local

health food store, and I'm in the boonies in Maine. I had a choice of

organic and a non organic tea, and the lady at the store said the

non-organic tea was for all intents and purposes organic, but not

certified. At $2 for a box instead of $5, I went with that one.

If you want the brand name, let me know. You can probably order it online

too.

Oh, the calming effects last for a significant time. I can't put it into

hours, but i'd say it's for most of my waking time.

Teas, green and black for sure, don't know about white, have tons of fluoride.

Fluoride is not good, particularly for the thyroid.

Hi,

Can u pl give the brand name? Can this tea be given to our kids? How does it

help us calm?

Sorry, if it's a foolish question, but I would like to know.

Thanks and regards,

it's prince of peace premium white peony tea, or something like that. i

found it online also for about $4 for 100 bags!

as for the flouride issue, that's nonsense.

the flouride most people are worried about actually isnt flouride at all

(the 'flouride' in toothpaste and some municipal water supplies).

when most people think of flouride, they are actually thinking of a flouride

containing chemical that comes from toxic waste.

if you are worried about it, i would either not brush your teeth, or find a

toothpaste that is so-called 'flouride' free!

i like an herbal ayurvedic toothpaste that is very peppery, clovish and

cinnamony tasting.

We don't give her toothpaste with fluoride in it. I researched this and was

always confused. I found articles that said organic tea had more fluoride in it

than nonorganic, green tea more than black.

Fluoride displaces iodine in the system, iodine is needed for proper thyroid

function, which we did not have. Some people are more susceptible to fluoride

than others.

I did wonder with all the fluoridated water and fluoride treatments by dentists

and schools (an authorization for fluoride treatments was the first thing the

school asked us to sign at kindergarten registration) if childhood obesity is a

result of too much fluoride everywhere! It's not nonsense, we had to think

about it. It is too bad as tea has a lot of antioxidants.
