Hello Patty,

Sea buckthorn berry oil has been shown to be helpful for rosacea. If you

want more details let me know.

I'm a few days behind, so please forgive a possible

duplication.......both neem oil and emu oil are said to be excellent for

rosacia, as well as eczema and psoriasis. HTH, rox

Don't know a great deal, but I have it and so do two of my sibs, as

wellas my late Dad.

When we first saw DAN! Dr and gave extensive family history, I threw

that in as an afterthought, but if I remember rightly, he said that it

was linked with some kind of gut bug, and I have heard of people going

on anti-candida type diets. He was not saying that my rosacea was a

cause of ASD in my son, but that there was a link with gut problems,

unlikely as that would have seemed at one time to me, it does not

suprise me any longer.

I know that one of the ways my Dad was treated was with tetracyline

antibiotic.

Good luck Sue (Manchester UK)

Thank you. I am on Nystatin and have been for a month or 2.

Someone in another group said something about Helicobactor pilori.

And another person said something about kidney and liver problems.

I guess I will treat as much of the above as possible. lol

My father and my MIL both get it and claim it is like an allergy to

the sun. They wear special sunscreen/lotion prescribed by their

dermitologists. No wonder my kids have allergies!!!

Hi again DAnielle,

Just remembered that it can be aggravated by spicy foods, coffee (I

have not noticed), and alcohol. My Dad was a heavy drinker who always

denied how much he drank, unfortunately for him his nose was a dead

give away. As well as the tetracycline, I seemed to remember he had a

kind of hydrocortisone cream that he rubbed in, and if he ran out he

would use Quinoderm, which is non-prescription acne cream here in UK.

I was originally given a cream called something like lex, but

stopped using it when I became pregnant, may use it again when I stop

breastfeeding. Good luck Sue
