Guest guest
Wyndie, No, we didn't see the horrendous yeast die off we saw with Diflucan, but it could happen. Inappropriate/uncontrollable laughing always meant yeast here and the rashes could signify some viral/immune issues as this product can stimulate the immune system to start fighting harder. I'm not a fan of making them too much worse, but it sounds as if this is working. You might try giving some charcoal to distinguish between the ability to tolerate this product and die off. And keep us posted as to what happens. [ ] Neutrophil plus users Do you see yeast die-off when starting this? We have started slow and low but I am seeing more yeast behavior - inappropriate laughter and rashes. I'm not sure if this means they don't tolerate it or it means it's working. Thanks, Wyndie
Guest guest
, Thanks for your reply I've never done charcoal before, but I do have some. Do I need to start slow and low like all meds, or can I just give them a capsule (they swallow capsules)? I will have to open a capsule for the baby, is there anything I need to know about it? Sorry if these seem like dumb questions, I'm woefully ignorant on this one! Guest guest
Doesn't seem like a dumb question to me, Wyndie as I don't know the answer, we never gave charcoal, but maybe some nice person will help you out here. Guest guest
I have only used activated charcoal occasionally. I gave 1/2 cap (adult dose of ours is 2 caps) and followed with lots of water. Make sure it is significantly away from all supps/meds, as it will absorb lots of stuff in its path. Hopefully someone else will chime in with more information. Anne > > > > Wyndie, > > > > No, we didn't see the horrendous yeast die off we saw with > Diflucan, but it could happen. Guest guest
<<You might try giving some charcoal to distinguish between the ability to tolerate this product and die off. >> Hi , We have started the Neutrop + and things have been far from calm here. But what are the differences between yeast and intolerance of product and die off? This is harder than learning a foreign language!! Guest guest
Oy. Now we are seeing stimming I haven't seen in awhile. Not since we got yeast under control anyway. My dd says her privates itch - always yeast for her. Her tongue is coated. My son is acting sillier by the moment. Extremely loud and screaching/screaming at random. I don't know how much longer I can take it!! LOL It's hard to know whether to continue or not when there is clearly yeast going on. I wish I could tell is this is something that is flaring and then we will see benefits or if I just need to quit. I'm off to give them some charcoal. Guest guest
We are seeing the same sort of stuff here Wyndie. He is all over the place, crazy stims he hasn't done in months. I'm wussing out, I didn't give him another dose today. Pretty bad that I could only take four days of this huh? Maybe I will try it again after the holidays. > > Oy. Guest guest
, I'm sorry to hear your having the same junk! I was asking my husband tonight how much longer we should try this before we decide it's a wash. Neither of us had a good answer haha I did give some activated charcoal and it seemed to help my dd. My son on the other hand, continued with the silliness but in spurts, not the continuous goofiness. So maybe it worked for him but I need to give more next time (I was afraid to give him another dose right before bedtime). I'm not sure, but wanted to suggest when you start it back up, have the charcoal ready. It did help dd, so that gives me hope that what I'm seeing (and possibly you too) is die-off. I just noticed that NP has vitamin A palmitate, which my son reacts to quite badly (or at least he used to). So you might be seeing a combination of yeast and an intolerance to that. Guest guest
Wyndie, sure sounds like yeast. Confusing that it would control yeast for some and cause it for others. Guest guest
, I am confused too. Which is a constant state of things anymore hahahaha I have stopped it b/c I just can't bear to see them getting worse. You know I'm curious to know - those whom it worked for - what kind of yeast/bacterial/fungi issues are involved. I mean, my kids OAT all look EXACTLY the same. Their lab work looks almost exactly the same (my dd#1 has extra issues, but looks the same in all yeast/bacteria/fungi respects). So it makes sense that the type of yeast/bacteria/fungi we have doesn't respond to this sort of medicine, while the kind that your dgd has, does respond. Now, what to do with an opened bottle of this stuff... Grrrr I hate wasting money!!! Thank you for your help during this. Without everyone's assistance, I would be in a little white padded room right now Wyndie > > > > Oy. Now we are seeing stimming I haven't seen in awhile. Guest guest
I don't know, Wyndie, we never did an OAT, but the kind of yeast present might yield some answers. Looks like it is not as straight forward as I had hoped--not surprising. Maybe the others for whom the product did work will have done an OAT and be able to respond. I did wonder about the betacarotenes which are in the formula as a fair number of kids have problems with betacarotenes. Re: [ ]Wyndie/was: Neutrophil plus users , I am confused too. Guest guest
It seems to me, at least for some kids, including one of mine, that ANYTHING we give that boosts the immune system can potentially create more yeast. Everything that I have used for this child to boost her immune system including TF, Epicor, VS, OLE, Vitamin C, Colostrum, etc has increased her level of yeast. That doesn't necessarily mean that I should not use any of them but is an indication, or so it would seem, of a high viral load. However, for other kids whose immune system is in better shape, more repaired, whatever, it will help with yeast since that is what the immune system is supposed to do - rid the body of foreign material that isn't supposed to be there, among other things. With some things (VS, TF, and C) I've been able to fight through the yeast and get to big improvements, but with others the yeast has been uncontrollable (OLE, Lauricidin). Guest guest
Well I had a lightbulb moment when reading this reply. I have been suspicious of my kids being viral, but have willingly ignored it b/c I don't want to deal with it. LOL Honestly, I don't know how to juggle chelating, yeast flare-ups and virus' all at once. But I guess I'm going to have to learn! Thanks for your reply, wyndie > > > > > > > > Oy. Guest guest
Love those lightbulb moments! I completely understand not wanting to venture into the viral realm. I felt the same way once I realized it was going to be a WHOLE LOT more yeast and such trying to do viral and chelation at the same time. However, when I try to remove the viral components my little girl falls apart so I am stuck here in this never ending yeast nightmare and just trying to push on. It's tough working on both things at once, but some find it do-able. I hope you get things sorted out soon, Wyndie. Sheresa > > Well I had a lightbulb moment when reading this reply. Guest guest
I want to start off by saying that we have not used Neutrophil Plus (although I have thought about it). I am curious as to what dose you are using? Have you tried decreasing the dose to see if it helps make the yeast managable? Thanks, Sofia __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Sofia, I was taking a full cap myself, but I was giving the kids the following: 7 year old 1/2 cap 5 year old 1/4 cap 1 year old 1/8ish cap Going lower might have been easier on them, but I don't generally have to go low on supplements; the kids handle regular doses normally. I'm glad I didn't give them large doses! I shudder to think what would have happened if I did. Although I wonder if maybe I would have just seen yeast overgrowth faster. I am FINALLY seeing die-off today, so I'm too gunshy to try it again at smaller doses. Thanks! Guest guest
That's awesome Wyndie! What did you use to get the die-off? GSE? Looking at your doses I feel like a total idiot. I used 1/3 cap/day on my 18 mth old. No wonder he's gone off the deep end. I guess that was wayyyy too high of a starting dose. Oops :-( > > Sofia, > I was taking a full cap myself, but I was giving the kids the > following: > 7 year old 1/2 cap > 5 year old 1/4 cap > 1 year old 1/8ish cap > > Going lower might have been easier on them, but I don't generally > have to go low on supplements; the kids handle regular doses > normally. Guest guest
, I'm sorry you're still having problems from it! I use garlic (3x a day), GSE (3 drops 2x day), diflucan (1x week), nystatin (3x day), DC3 (3 drops 2x day) and today added Oil of oregano. As soon as I added the OoO, I saw die off in my daughter. Yesterday I saw die-off in the baby who does not receive the diflucan or OoO. I sure hope you get it figured out quickly. I know how hard it is to see old habits return that you had hoped to never see again!
