We have a kid with a bad gut. We get intermittent good poops, but

not consistent by any means. Now my son goes every day, which is

certainly much better than when we started biomed. The trigger for

us was when the doc told us to go to ridiculous amounts of Miralax

just to get him to go. So, lots of progress on all fronts, but we

don't have a healed gut. Probably the dang MMR.

Well, that is a very good result, for sure. I am hoping we get this

result too. I think the cold is starting to resolve. Lots of stuff

came out this morning. It all just seemed looser, which I think is a

good sign.

Of course! Why hurl on linoleum when there is carpet around? :-)

Sounds like a trooper! Our kids really amaze me at the things they

handle and handle well, especially when they must be feeling crappy

so often. It saddens me to know that my little guy has never known

what it is like to feel really healthy. Hopefully someday....

I hope parents who are being influenced by the Laider guy (I remember

reading his stuff before going hardcore biomed) hear all the good

things parents have to say about what their kids can do/handle, etc.

as a result of biomed and realize that it is not all false hope.

These kids are sick and need to be healed as fully as possible.

Onward and upward!

Best,

Anne

Anne,

Yes, looser is definitely better. A lower respiratory infection (chest cold)

with lots of rattly noises is much less severe than when it is all tightly

packed in there. The steam you can generate in the bathroom just by turning the

shower on is also helpful to loosen things. You can also put a warm heating pad

on the chest to loosen. Also giving lots and lots of water will thin the

secretions and make them easier to get out.
