Guest guest
My daughter has full mouth with amalgam filling. We need to replace them with Substance that is not liable to damage her body. We also need to use anesthesia. I wonder which pharmacological treatment and which composite I should use instead of amalgam that will be inerratic and will cause no harm for her body. Guest guest
First of all, may I recommend Andy's book " Amalgam Illness " ? It is great at explaining the issues associated with mercury poisoning and what you can do to ameliorate some of the symptoms until the mercury can be safely removed. The book will also help you plan a supplement protocol for your daughter BEFORE, during and after you replace the amalgams. This is extremely important for your daughter's health. Andy's book can be purchased at www.noamalgam.com. For those overseas, Andy does ship internationally at very little extra charge ($10 shipping or similar). Make sure that the dentist that you choose uses a rubber damn and exogenous oxygen. There is a whole website dedicated to safe dentistry and the removal of amlagams. you should look it up and read what you can on the process. For those who live in Israel, Dr. Yarden Goldstein is great! He is NYU trained and also very up to date on biological dentistry. He replaced 13 amalgams for me and four for my husband. He now works with a group at a hospital so that anesthesia can be administered and he can work on pediatric patients. You can tell him that I referred you to him. Guest guest
You need to go to an environmental dentist in your area! Do NOT have them removed from a regular dentist, it will cause more harm than good! I can recommend on in Northern California. Andy Cutler is a GREAT resource on mercury, mercury detox and protcol! I am not sure where you live, but the wonderful lady who I see is trained by Hal Huggins in removal and all such precautions. They use conscious IV sedation. Which was wonderful. Guest guest
-I definitely would not mess around but find someone trained in that protocol for safe removal and compatable replacements. They usually use conscious sedation. Normally, pain meds' or sedatives are a huge problem for me. I did not have any problems with the one they used. And you are still awake, can walk, talk. But are very calm. I didn't even notice one of the novacaine shots. (actually it is not novacaine but that type of med. Just type in Hal Huggins on any search engine and you should find his website. From there you can see whom in your tri-state area is trained in proper removal/replacement. -- In , ronche ron <ronche111@...> wrote: > > They are adult teeth with amalgam. > > Jan <queenvavee@...> wrote: If you cannot afford the compatablility blood test, you can request > a material call DiamondLite or Diamond Crown. Because she won't guarantee this, I'm going to re-register him with a mercury-free dentist, but the nearest one to me, I believe, is the Advance Centre in Leeds (I live in Durham). Has anyone used this practice? Also, what would I do in the event of a 'dental emergency' if I have registered with a dentist in another town, nearly 2 hours away by train? I'm hoping to get all my amalgam fillings replaced at this practice too, as my health has been going gradually down-hill since I had my front teeth crowned about 4-5 years ago, not realising that they are 'stuck' in place with amalgam?! Guest guest
Thanks for this Tracey and Joanne,                                                    Joanne, you are currently going through amalgam removal, once it's all out, do you then start on DMSA? I'll probably get back in touch when mine are out because I'm not sure about dosage, when to start ALA, etc for myself. I'm getting mine removed as my fibromyalgia symptoms started within about a year of getting my front teeth crowned, as they're held in place with amalgam which is in constant contact with my gum. With them being my front teeth, I'm constantly licking them as well (yikes!!). I also mentioned the subject of amalgam removal with my Mum, who has had ME for 20 odd years and she told me she'd had amalgams removed and replaced, so I asked her what protocol they used for safe removal and she didn't know what I was talking about. It's scary what they get away with and it wasn't until I threatened to withdraw my consent for my son if I couldn't have an absolute guarantee from his current (soon to be ex) dentist, that she would not use amalgam that she admitted that she couldn't guarantee it and might have to use amalgam if his filling is too big for composite, and she wouldn't have known that until he was under GA. So by getting rid of her, I've saved her from the banshee that she would have had on the ward. The American Dentists Statement on amalgam is quite an eye-opener, the following taken from amalgamillness.com: Did You Know? Guest guest
Hi DianeAfter having your amalgams removed you have to avoid ALA for three months. This is true for any recent mercury exposure. You can start DMSA after 4 days I think.Autism Treatment From: m_d33@...Date: Thu, 25 Mar 2010 13:37:21 +0000Subject: Re: Dental treatment Thanks for this Tracey and Joanne, Joanne, you are currently going through amalgam removal, once it's all out, do you then start on DMSA?
