Try some GSE, a few drops in an empty capsule if he can swallow pills, otherwise try hiding it in OJ (it's very strong). > I'm going to call his pediatrician, but after a couple of days reading > this group I have a feeling the experts are all here. lol. I asked my former ped why my daughter's vulva was flaming red, and she said said it was nothing. Much later I found out it was very painful, chronic yeast. Guest guest
For us red ring is usually yeast, sometimes a food allergy. But if there are pimples too then almost definitely yeast. > > Hi - > > My husband called me up after the kids bath tonight because of a very > red ring around my 4 year son's anus. Guest guest
That's a pretty sure sign of yeast. Barb [ ] red ring around 4 year old anus Hi - My husband called me up after the kids bath tonight because of a very red ring around my 4 year son's anus. The line that runs from that area up to underneath his scrotum is very red as well. There are even what looks like pimples on his butt cheeks. He has been complaining of having trouble pooping and it hurting off and on for the last couple of months. His most recent compaints were yesterday. He is not on any supplements or chelation - I joined this group for the benefit of my other son. I'm going to call his pediatrician, but after a couple of days reading this group I have a feeling the experts are all here. Thanks for any help!! -
Guest guest
Yup, I agree w/ Barb, most likley yeast. You can try Triple Paste Cream - you have to ask for it at the pharmacy counter but it's not an rx. It can fight the yeast. If you were to try it and the ring goes away, it would be a sighn that it's yeast. If you haven't already, you may want to consider a stool and a urine organic oat test for yeast. jromkema <jromkema@...> wrote: That's a pretty sure sign of yeast. Guest guest
Thanks so much everyone! I will get the Triple Paste Cream and see if that helps. That's a pretty sure sign of yeast. > > Barb > [ ] red ring around 4 year old anus > > Hi - > > My husband called me up after the kids bath tonight because of a very > red ring around my 4 year son's anus. Guest guest
For this type of yeast we always use LotriminAF on our children's bottoms. I have two children who often show yeast in their diapers and it works quickly to sooth the very raw bottoms since it is an antifungal. This was recommended to me by my pediatrician. Commonly yeast overgrowth, can also be food intolerance. >> The line that runs from that > area up to underneath his scrotum is very red as well. This was food intolerance for my kids. Especially orange foods like oranges and carrots. Dana
