Guest guest
Jan, Try dosing every 2.5 hours, the standard rule for any kid who does not do well at the standard time dosing of 3 hours is to dose more frequently. It is normal for some kids to be better " off " rounds than on and you normally see the results of a chelation round about a week to 10 days after the round. Good luck, [ ] Round six issues..? We just started round six of dmsa/ala at 12.5mg each with my 3.5 year old son. He is on all supplements recommended, GSE and probiotics. He is dairy free. Our last round was horrible. His behavior was insain. Cried, tantrums, hitting, just miserable. I was really hesitant to do another one, so we skipped a week. Gave him time to settle down a bit. He was so sweet and really showing great things on his time off. I even noticed an increase in his attention span! Today was our first day of round six. He was nice this morning, no signs really, but as the day went on and the doses, he started to get irritable, cranky, having fits over everything. I checked some archives and Andy said this was normal for them to get worse on rounds and be better off rounds. Any suggestions, or things we can do to make him feel better? I am guessing the behavior is because he is not feeling up to par. Do they always get worse on a round after a while? I just keep telling myself that this is working and we have to ride out the rough spots!
