Going to bed at 7am or 8am after being up all night and then only sleeping a

few hours was something I often did at a time when my apartment and,

especially, my bed were contaminated with things I was allergic to. Some

things, like fungus, are more active at night and they " sleep " during the

day, making daytime a less dangerous time to sleep in an environment

contaminated with such things. I simply couldn't rest while my body was

being attacked like that and having insomnia was also a subconscious means

for me to physically avoid my bed and bedroom.

This is yeast.

No sugar. No wheat. No dairy. No carbohydrates.

Food suggestions:

eggs, bacon, pear juice

veal, squash, onion

broccoli, asparagus, pear

Candex following instructions ~precisely~

Nystatin, if the doctor will prescribe it.

Hello, Your son is having tummy aches. Aloe water or juice will help

soothe his tummy. Serotonin is needed to make melatonin. You need to

heal his gut, enzymes, yeast control, 5-HTP ect.

Ann;

It's possible his tummy is sour. But he is usually

crazy hyper before he goes to bed. Laughing, running

around, jumping up and down.

Epsom salt baths help him sometimes before bed. But

we always have to give the clonidine for him to go to

sleep.

He's been on Lexapro and 5-HTP before but still had

the sleep issues.

The crazy hyper-can't settle down-laughing, for us, was yeast, when it got

really out of control. Try Candex, very good, have to give on an empty stomach,

but works fast.

Sorry to hear that. It was just a thought, but I realized after that

someone already suggested that. Have you tried Yeast Aid from

Kirkman? This really helped kick yeast for us.

Thats funny you should say Candex. I just started him on it today.

He cant swallow pills yet so I had to mix it in juice. He gagged and

almost threw up. Is there another way or will he just have to get

used to it?

Hello, they say LSD is a yeast derive drug. Your son may be making his

own LSD? I would rotate gragefruit seed extract and olive leaf. I am

sorry your son is so sick and will pray he will have a long peaceful

life...

My son could not rest when his tummy would hurt and he did everything

he could to stay awake. I wish I had the answer... Ann

OMG! LSD? That would explain allot if his body was

doing that!

I did try OLE about a month ago. It made him laugh

for no reason, but he seemed to be in pain when he was

laughing. He would grimace and reach for me to help

him while laughing. It freaked me out so I stopped

giving it to him. He's allergic to grapefruit but can

he still have GSE?

Your words are kind. I've been following this message

board for several weeks now and I am astounded by all

the people who are so willing to share their knowledge

with others.

Lori, Many things are going on at one time with your son. So

sometimes you can not see that a treatment has help him heal because

something else pop up .... at the begining this paper helped me to

know where to start researching and learning .

http://puterakembara.org/rm/Dr_Jepson.pdf

He's allergic to grapefruit but can

> he still have GSE?

I would not give it to him - there are other treatments for yeast.

>

I've been following this message

> board for several weeks now and I am astounded by all

If you can remember that the suggestions given will work for about

1/2 the kids and not get to discouraged - and remember you may go

back to a treatment you try today and try it several months from now

ect. Also remember You have the most to gain in your sons recovery

and you will spend more time at it than anyone else.

This is what I think happed when you gave your son the olive leaf

the olive leaf was fine but at that same time he had this reaction

to someting.

http://www.enzymestuff.com/opiatereceptors.htm

Since I am on this track I want to say one more thing about the

diets for our kids. I am not going to say they don't work - But I

will say that with my son - and his leaky gut- we would see

improvement for awhile than the new foods would be the foods to

cause the opiate reaction - the first list of food in the allergy

testing -was the list of food he was eating at that time. I would

think a trial of enzymes is in order... If he reacts ( my son

freaked out being in the real would for the first time in his life )

remember that is a good sign.. go low dose at the beginning and join

the enzyme group?

My 2 cents Ann

Hi Lori,

I understand about the no sleep issue, but have no suggestions. My 5yr old

daughter is ADHD & has a sleep disorder. She hasn't taken a nap since she was 2

and hasn't slept a full night since either. The doc said to give her benadryl -

works for 4 hours then she is wide awake. I found that the only way I could get

her to stay still so she could get to sleep was to put her in bed with me until

she was sleeping, then put her in her own bed. She is now in her own bed, but

she is always making multiple trips for any excuse that she can come up with.

Often it is beween 11pm and 2am before she is sleeping. But, even then she is up

during the night. The docs won't give her anything to help, saying she is to

young. They are hoping that once she gets on her ADHD meds in Aug., that they

will help her to sleep. Then at that point if those meds don't work then they

will see if something else will help her.

Between her, my 14 yr olds(1 is BP plus others) and with his issues,

I'm drained. And that is not counting my fibro.

Sorry, not much help

My three year old will not/can not go to sleep with out Rx medication.

We've been using Clonidine for the past year and a half at night.

I want so badly to stop using it.

Our DAN doctor suggested we use melatonin. It didnt even make him yawn.

( we gave him to him for several weeks)

Then he said we should try GABA. No luck with that either.

Several months ago I put my son to bed with no Clonidine. Since he

had been up that morning at 5:30am I thought for sure that he would be

tired by 9:00pm that night especially with no nap. He did not go to

sleep until 8:00am the next morning and then onlyy slept 5 hours.

It's rare to see him yawn or even rub his eyes after he's been awake

for hours and hours.

I suspect this is yeast related. He's not responding well to yeast

treatments. I have not tried viral supps yet.

Suggestions would be most appreciated!

Thanks

Commonly caused by phenol intolerance or yeast overgrowth [or both]

http://www.danasview.net/phenol.htm

http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm

Can also be caused by nutritional deficiencies like B vitamins, or

virus issues, or several other things.

>>He drinks Pear Juice all day.

My son did not tolerate pears, except with No-Fenol enzyme. Even tho

pears are not high phenol, a straight pear intolerance can cause this

problem. Try giving it with No-Fenol, see if that helps.

rib bone.

This can indicate an absorption issue. Enzymes can help with that.

I'm starting to feel overwhelmed..

No-Fenol was not tolerated. The b vitamins seemed to

make him worse. I've tried almost everything that

other parents say have worked for their children with

no success.

I know each child is different, but this seems to be

getting out of hand. I'm working with Candex now for

yeast. I'm restructuring his diet as well.

Divine intervention would be nice right now.

Thanks

No-Fenol also addresses yeast, so many times it causes yeast die off.

Are you sure it was intolerance, rather than die off?

This is common for kids who are phenol intolerant

My son tolerated basically no supplements until about round 50 of ALA

chelation. For him, chelation was the FIRST intervention, rather than

the last.
