Guest guest
I just realized something. We've been working for years now to lower our aluminum. Got rid of the aluminum-based baking powder, use tinfoil very sparingly, got rid of aluminum pans. I knew that processed cheese has a lot of aluminum and never buy sliced American cheese for that reason. But I have been using Annie's boxes of mac and cheese all this time when we get pressed for something easy and quick to feed the kids. And that powder (or glop in the bag) has got to be processed cheese too. Is there any reason to think it wouldn't have aluminum in it? And what about that mozzarella string cheese in the plastic tubes? I've been lulled into thinking if it says " organic " it must be healthy, but I'm thinking now that processed food is just junk no matter how groovy it seems to be.
