Guest guest
Hi Eilidh, Here in Oz women's magazines often provide great tips. I remember one many years ago now regarding thrush and topical application of probiotic yoghurt - sounds a bit messy doesn't it? I haven't had thrush since I stopped using tampons and changed to a Ph balanced non-perfumed soap many moons ago, so I don't know if the yoghurt tip really does work, how good it is, or how long it takes to have effect. If you try it, some feedback would be good. If you haven't already done so, also consider changing to a washing power for sensitive skins to minimize irritation. I know of others who've placed drops of 100% pure Tee Tree Oil in their bathwater twice a day with excellent results within a couple of days. (Note: Tee Tree Oil is a powerful anti-fungal and way too strong for direct application on any sensitive area of the body.) My family have never had any problems with direct application elsewhere on the body (within reason), but I'll add to that that none of us suffer any particular sensitivities, so we're not a good example for those who do. A skin test in advance is always advisable, and especially so if someone suffers with sensitivities. Kind regards, Cris
