I have been buying Apsopure spring water for the last 15 years in 5

gallon containers and the thread on Corelle starting me thinking about

possible lead in the ceramic dispenser that the water bottle sits in.

Lowe's sells a refrigerated dispenser that has a stainless steel

storage tank and wondering if that would be a better choice. Thanks.

Not really. Stainless steel leaches nickel. Nickel is a known

carcinogen. I would find out if the ceramic has a lead free glaze on

it. Contact the company. I know that the stainless steel cup I had

made water taste funny, I ended up throwing the cup out. I did get

shocked a few times drinking from it too. Definitely does something to

the water. See if you water cooler even has lead first. It may not.
