Candida yeast causes fatigue/sluggishness so you need to address the candida yeast problem with low carb diet and supplements/probiotics, etc. With low carb diet one must drink plenty of filtered or spring water and supplement with extra potassium and magnesium or complications may arise. Low carb diets act as diuretics so watr and supplementing is important. Eliminate dairy from this low carb diet.

I just made an appointment with my urologist because of a possible bladder infection ( you know the feeling I am talking about). I had been taking antibiotics prior to the infection as I had a tooth pulled. I too wonder if LDN and Antibiotics don't work well together. This bladder problem has been with me for the last two weeks. Prior to this I had a few good bladder days when I first started with LDN I also have the fatique problem, but it starts around 3pm which I fight to stay awake so I am guaranteed to sleep well at night, which I do. Thanks for the info. The only problem that would stop me from trying this at 100% is drinking alot of fluids. I am not next to the bathroom all the time. Thanks to all for your time and help. Guest guest
Hi , This site gives information about the common side effects of LDN and how to cope with some of them: http://tinyurl.com/yosnk5 With best wishes for the New Year, Dudley Delany dudley_delany [low dose naltrexone] Chronic fatigue with LDN Hi Group: I have been on LDN for MS now 6 weeks, first started with 1.5 for the month and moved to 3.0 the 5th and 6th week. The first week on the 1.5 the only complaint I had was trouble sleeping. Everything was going great. I moved onto 3.0 2 weeks ago and again I had some trouble sleeping the first few days, but everything settled down for me by the end of that same week .Now I have noticed for the last 5 days I have this debilitating fatigue as well as lightheadness. I have no problem getting to sleep, but wake at 11:00 am and by 3:00pm in the afternoon I am exhausted again. I am having difficulty with this because I never used to sleep in this late, and this fatigue only set in once I began increasing the dosage. I also had a chronic bladder infection and spent 2 weeks on antibiotics, so I am wondering if there might be a relationship with those drugs and the LDN. If there is anybody here experiencing anything similar I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks, and to all that post here have a Healthy, Safe, and Happy New Year. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
Hi Dudley: Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, I cannot open any links on my cpu right now for some reason my screen freezes everytime, and when I enter the site in the address bar I get an error. I will have to see about getting into the site some other way. Thanks again. All the best and Happy New Year to you as well. --- Dudley Delany <DudleyDelany@...> wrote: > Hi , > > This site gives information about the common side > effects of LDN and how to cope with some of them: > > http://tinyurl.com/yosnk5 > > With best wishes for the New Year, > > Dudley Delany > > dudley_delany > > > [low dose naltrexone] Chronic fatigue with > LDN > > Hi Group: > > I have been on LDN for MS now 6 weeks, first started > with 1.5 for the month and moved to 3.0 the 5th and > 6th week. Guest guest
Hi , I have had a similar situation with the sleepiness. I take LDN for arthritis, not MS, and at 3.0 (my starting dose) the sleepiness was a real problem. I cut back to 1.5 for about 10 days (until I was not having sleep problems anymore) and am now back to 3.0 for the last 5 days or so. I’m on vacation right now, so I find if I can take the LDN around midnight and then sleep in quite late, things are fine – though I do feel very sleepy around 3pm for a while. Don’t know what will happen once school starts and I have to get up early again, but I’ve learned from this list (thank you!) that I should just persevere and it will get better. For what it’s worth, the explanation I got from the pharmacist is that while you may think you’re sleeping ok, the LDN disturbs your very deep sleep and so you may feel exhausted during the day as a result. She said it’s a very common side effect and it will go away with time. Happy new year! I do not propose it to you because I imagine you very busy with responsabilities with ldn. I you know someone, you can give my personal adress : f-dumont@... Thank you very much. francoise
