Guest guest Posted May 18, 2006 Report Share Posted May 18, 2006 Does he have a chemical-free mattress? Consider getting him one. The antimony in the flame retardant in regular mattresses can cause problems... S S Sam continues to wake repeatedly in the night and head bang, if I give
him melatonin he does go back to sleep but then he head bangs worse and
worse in the am. This has been going on for years really. I know I
cannot just chalk it up to yeast, nothing is really working. He is 12
years old and our walls are falling down!
Can anyone recommend a good neurologist in the Boston area. I think we
need to do an over night EEG. My theory is that he grounds into his
bed and pillow so much trying to get comfortable that he blocks his
nasal pasages and doesn't compansate by opening his mouth and wakes
from lack of oxygen. Another words not sleep apnea but his brain hisn't
picking up on the fact thtat he is not breathing properly. right away
and also maybe causing a head ache. Crazy maybe but I have been at
this 12 years trying to figure out why he doesn't sleep more than five
hours at a time.
So a good neurologist in Boston area. We have seen a lot of them in
the past. Thank you

=======================================================
Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
