I just bought some " Bob's Red Mill Aluminum-free baking soda " at Whole

Foods. I've had lots of luck with the Bob's Red Mill brand for lots

of different esoteric products.

So, which baking sodas have aluminum? I thought it was the baking

Powder that had aluminum not the baking soda? or am i wrong? Because

if the baking sodas have aluminum too then i'm switching as well.

Hi,

I'm in Australia and have one made by a local company that is

called " Low allergy baking powder " . It contains potassium

bicarbonate, potassium tartrate, tapioca powder. I find it useful

to use in gluten free bread mix -- when I turn the whole thing into

muffins with ground nuts and stuff.

Maybe search for a product with these types of ingredients.

I think you mean baking powder. Baking soda is different and doesn't contain

aluminum anyway. Trader Joe's and other stores carry Rumford brand baking

powder. Whole Foods Market and other health food stores often carry

Featherlight brand baking powder but it tends to be more expensive.

Baking soda does not contain aluminum. Baking powder does unless it

is clearly labeled as aluminum free, and you can find that at most

grocery stores next to the regular baking powder.
