Guest guest
Dear all, My Son is 4yrs 1mo. I feel afraid about starting chelation but my partner and I also feel we owe it to our Son who has come so far using biomed treatment. He has had a hair test and is a Lead child. We have got the strawberry flavour DMSA and we are ready to start using Cutler protocol (frequent low dosage) but not ALA until we've got the Lead out) but need to get some more minerals into my son first. His RBC showed him low in Zinc, Selenium and Magnesium. At the moment he is supplemented with CLO and Brainchild, enzymes and oral L-glutathione, plus powdered Nystatin (yes, we got him to accept it at last!) but I don't think this broad spectrum approach is going to be enough. Could anyone advise what brand and dosage of Zinc, Selenium and Magnesium or other essential metals they load up with. I am aware that most parents continue giving minerals on the " on " days and this is how we plan to go. We are going to Candex for our Yeast Killer or if things get really rough, Diflucan. is the Yeast King! I would be so grateful for help on this one as we're wasting time with him here - we need to get the lead out now. I think he will do really well on this but only if we get it right like everything else. Many thanks everybody Eileen and
Guest guest
Eileen, When we chelated, I used the BrainChild Mega-Minerals, which can be used with any of the vitamin formulas in place of the regular minerals. I occasionally added some extra zinc, using LiquiZinc. This was very sufficient for our needs, even when some of his mineral levels weren't great before chelation. I did have to give lots of small doses throughout the day, as all that magnesium in the Mega Mins gave him loose stools otherwise. As you probably know, I work at BrainChild, so this was an obvious choice for me. Just wanted to also let you know that we also have a new Liquid Magnesium, coming out in the next couple weeks. Go carefully with the selenium, as you do want to avoid toxicity, of course. If it is still low after increasing doses of the Mega Mins, you could try using the E-lyte selenium drops to increase dose. Terri (at Brainchild) > > Dear all, > > My Son is 4yrs 1mo. Guest guest
Eileen, Lead can take years to come out (the body redistributes it from the bones as we remove it). You wouldn't want to wait 3 or so years to address the metals in the brain with ALA. My son, is among other things, lead toxic. I use both DMSA and ALA with him. The combination makes things go faster and ALA is a wonderful antioxidant as well (something our kids need). Best, Anita > > Dear all, > > My Son is 4yrs 1mo.
