Guest guest
Hi, I just received Abi's new hair test. It seems to look worse than before we started biomed. Is this normal? I am particularly concerned about her copper level (I noticed they used the same reference range for her as they did me!). I was planning to start ALA soon - can I? Is it so high because she is finally releasing body stores? What is going on? I noticed that many of the explanations for minerals say that it may not be reflective of body stores. Any ideas on supplementing would be appreciated. I am also confused about the calcium/mag issue. Thank you for any replies! BTW, her previous hair test is post #169945. Guest guest
For copper, Andy recommended for my little guy that he get molybdenum, 1000 mcgs / day in divided doses. Our copper went from looking like Abi's to being in the white on the next test. Of course, it might have been external contamination that resolved when we moved from a vintage Chicago condo (I still don't know if it had copper pipes or not) to a house in the boonies in S. Indiana during that time. Anne > > Hi, > > I just received Abi's new hair test. It seems to look worse than before we started biomed. Is this normal? Guest guest
Consider identifying and reducing/removing source of exposure to tin. Did she meet counting rules on the previous test? She does now so the essentials may not reflect actual just represent disordered mineral transport (i.e. indicate mercury toxicity). S S Hi,

I just received Abi's new hair test. Guest guest
I am bumping this again because I wanted someone to tell me if this tests indicates an adrenal and/or thyroid problem. I recently started treating both my kids and myself for adrenal problems based on behavior but wondered if the hair test called for it. Thanks again!!! You are all so great! > > Hi, > > I just received Abi's new hair test. Guest guest
Hi , I don't see any obvious adrenal or thyroid problems here. I imagine this will not always show up on the hair test, and if you are seeing benefits from using adrenal cortex extract, I would continue it. -- > > > > Hi, > > > > I just received Abi's new hair test. Guest guest
Let me amend my comment below. The Na/K ratio looks like *hyper*thyroid. I didn't mention this before because the K/Ca ratio (which can also show thyroid issues) is well within range. I'm not sure how to interpret this inconsistency, so just giving you the information. -- > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > I just received Abi's new hair test.
