Guest guest
Grapefruit is a very strong fodd/medicine. It acts on the liver and not always in a good way...it also interacts with at least 3pages of meds ...Cardizem and Lipitor can have serious interactions....deadly. Peanuts are NOT a nut...they are a legume......because liver patients are immune comprised at best...the chance that the peanut has aflatoxins on it is why he says no to them. Hope this helpsJenn <jenn2612@...> wrote: Anyone know why grapefruit is on the “avoid” list? Guest guest
Does it affect LDN? I love grapefruit and Edgar Cayce said it's one the healthiest fruits - on the other hand he also said to avoid tomatoes unless they're fully ripe when picked and/or cooked. As for chocolate, I crave it often and used to eat alot but since taking LDN I crave it less, but still have it often - especially the very dark chocolate. I don't think it affects my MS. Dairy does, hate milk, since childhood...I believe that most people have a 6th sense to as to what their bodies need. Miki RE: [low dose naltrexone] Information on Dr Berkson and Alpha Lipoic Acid..
