Hi,

I'm planning to order some amino acids from USA :

Taurine is probably safe to give (I used to give ds 2000mg/day).

What other forms are good to give, L-carnitine, L-carnosine,

L-glutamine??

I've seen one product called " No Leaky Gut " & it has quite

some amount of L-glutamine (or is this the same as glutamic

acid)?

There's one by Kirkman (formulated by Pangborn) but that one

is pretty expensive.

Any brands to suggest?

Appreciate it

G

Hi,

If anyone has tried out Kirkman's " Amino Support " ,

appreciate if you could share with me :

a) if it's palatable (cherry flavor?)

B) if it dissolves easily in water. I know some

protein powder are extremely difficult to dissolve

including those used by muscle builders & Amway's

protein powder

Thanks in advance

Gol, I bought a trial size along with another

order. It cost me $3.50 and has a goodly number

of servings in it so you can try a small size

first. It semi-dissolves in water. It forms more

of a suspension in water than a solution. It has

a citrus-y flavor, like lemon-lime. The flavor

is okay. I put it in other things. It hasn't

'ruined' the flavor of anything I've put it in.

Tests show I have very low amount of amino acids

apparently due to digestive problems, so I will

see if this helps. Don't know yet but the flavor

isn't a problem.

I would like to try TwinLabs Hydrolyzed Collagen

Protein. It is described as a predigested whey

protein, whey protein that has already been

broken down into more digestable form by

naturally occuring ezymes. It also contains B

Vitamins it says which is something I'm short on.

Anyone tried that? It doesn't say anything

about being hypoallergenic though. It says it

contains no sugar, no fats, no carbohydrates or

saccharin. I bet it tastes terrible then!
