Guest guest
And was just wondering if anyone has any last minute advice that's not in the files? Those who have BTDT, what helped you most? Thanks! Wyndie
Guest guest
For me vitamin c was a life saver. Don't take any the day of your appointment or it will reduce the pain shots from working. But the next day...take a 1000mg in the am, and keep going anytime you start to feel icky. I ended up taking it about 5 times a day for the first week or two. I felt really great the first day of removal, other than my teeth aching a lot. But the next morning..wow! Tired, a bit nauseau. But taking the C pretty much stopped any side effects. I carried some around in my purse too for a long time. If I started feeling sick again, I would take 1000mg and be feeling normal again. So this was key for me. I am not sure if you having IV-C or not with your procedure. I think that really helped me feel good on the day of removal. And don't worry...you will do fine. I did so much better than I thought I would. > > And was just wondering if anyone has any last minute advice that's not > in the files? Those who have BTDT, what helped you most? > Thanks! Those who have BTDT, what helped you most? Wyndie I went to my regular dentist who took no special precautions... I couldn't afford a specialist and wanted to get it done. Also I had no symptoms of mercury poisoning. After the first appt in which 3 fillings were replaced I felt sick, like a flu. The following morning I spoke to someone in my son's homeschool coop who I knew was interested in herbs and she recommended milk thistle. I used the extract and it helped very much. In fact for $10 I had enough to get me through that appt and two more - the second had 2 amalgams replaced and in the third he took out some amalgam under a crown. Since then my son and I, we both take ala half the week, use milk thistle only I now get the capsules because he can swallow capsules but wouldn't want to to drink something unpalatable like the milk thistle extract. I know milk thistle is also recommended on this list so maybe this is not news to you but at least I've added my two cents, fwiw. Good luck with it. Those who have BTDT, what helped you most? I had my 8 amalgams removed over 4 visits by a regular dentist, without all the fancy precautions, because I could not afford the extras. I took vitamin C, selenium, milk thistle, and a multi, and I have not had any ill effects that I know of. Dana
Guest guest
Hi friends, I recently had amalgam replaced by a conventional dentist as well. I'm taking a fantastic product that I highly recommend. It is made by Renew Life, and it is called Heavy Metal Cleanse. It is a 2 part system that you take morning and night. One part has vitamin C, B vitamins, and other " neutraceuticals " . Then it also contains chlorella, cilantro, garlic, kelp, important minerals, etc. and it is full of antioxidants. Many health food stores have it, and you can order it online too... You can look it up for more info and detailed ingredients. Renew Life is a great company that specializes in cleansing the body. (MANY other cleanses as well, like kidney cleanse, Cleansesmart, etc.) Good luck! Zoe
Guest guest
Thanks! How long did you have to do the Vit C to help with symptoms? Weeks? Days? Guest guest
Dana, was there a certain amount of these supplements you took at a given time? Did you just take all of these every time you felt bad? Did certain symptoms prompt you to take more of a certain supp? Thanks, Wyndie > > > > And was just wondering if anyone has any last minute advice that's not > > in the files? Marty, good idea to keep the live clean. Makes detox easier for the body. I used Milk Thistle everyday while chelating. Theres' also Liver Life, that I use now and have heard great things about! I took these daily [still do, altho I have added some since then] Vitamin C, 3000mg Selenium, 100mcg Milk Thistle, 350mg Multi, has about 250% of USRDA for most vitamins. Guest guest
Dana, how long after removal did you have to do this. I see you are still taking these supplements, is it still for the amalgam removal? If so, how long ago did you get them removed and what happens if you don't take these every day? Thanks again, Wyndie > > > > Dana, was there a certain amount of these supplements you took at a > > given time? No, for other issues. >> If so, how long ago did you get them removed and what > happens if you don't take these every day? If I miss a day, not much happens. If I miss 2 days, I get foggy.
