Sorry to be so long in answering. I have been away.

I chose DMSA because my son has lead and mercury problems. My

understanding is that many, many kids have had exposure to lead. I

want to deal with both the lead and mercury at the same time, so

DMSA was the best choice for us. Also, I do not need a doctor to

get DMSA, which is very affordable OTC. I have no experience with

DMPS and wouldn't be able to comment on it.
