Guest guest
Howdy DB, glad you found this list, these people are great *-) > Should I get hubby tested or wait until the next flare up? It takes 6-8 weeks for the body to produce enough antibodies to be tested for with decent results. And testing is, at best, a crap shoot, Lyme bugs vacate the blood asap. A poss test is poss, but a neg test is possibly a false neg. He needs to find a Dr that will not only do testing, ubt a clinical dx-symptomology. > Should I try to find another doc or just try to hook up with one of > these labs and work directly?(I'm in the Atlanta area).I would like > to use my insurance as well if possible! > I myself, have Osteonecrosis(bone disease) and am no stranger to > trying to find a good doc. Someone on this list can probably aid you in finding a Dr. While all Drs 'can' test or treat Lyme, they probably wouldnt be very aggressive. btw, did that bite produce a rash? If it did, and there is any sign left, document it. Does he have swollen joints? Document them, same goes for swollen lymph nodes etc. Good luck, Pepi

Co infections that I know of and also have along with my Lyme Disease are Babesiosis and Erlichosis.. He should be tested now.. Do not wait.. You need to find a Lyme Literate Doctor not just a regular GP. There are also a few tests you can have done The Western Blot, The , The PCR and the new Lyme Dot Blot which is urin. Please know negative tests results do not mean he does not have Lyme disease and or coinfection. A Lyme Disease diagnosis is based on Testing as well as Symptoms... Im sure someone here could help you find a good LLMD (Lyme Literate Medical Doctors). Good luck and please don't wait. if I can be of any help feel free to email me Robyn In NJ
Guest guest
With detoxing, I've seen an increase in attempting to truly communicate but the speech is so difficult that it's hard to understand BUT I realized today that he was telling me his elbow (joint) hurt. I was wondering about juvie arthritic issues and how you guys are handling pain. I know that gluten will exacerbate things and we've kept enzymes on but are removing gluten fully...again...but what about (dye-free) Tylonel or Ibuprofen? I haven't wanted to give much with the gut issues but I think we're needing to add some kind of painkiller (holistic is fine, too)in the mix...any thoughts? Thx, The Other
Guest guest
If you need to use something for pain, dye free Motrin would be the best thing in my opinion. Tylenol is hard on the liver and I have also read that it inhibits glutathione production. Guest guest
I wouldn't jump to the conclusion of arthritis unless there are other symptoms to suggest this besides the elbo pain. There is something going around here that is causing elbo pain, shoulder pain, & headach. I've had it and know of at least 5 people ocmplainng of the same symptoms. I hope he feels better soon+++ > With detoxing, I've seen an increase in attempting to truly > communicate but the speech is so difficult that it's hard to > understand BUT I realized today that he was telling me his elbow > (joint) hurt.
