I've been on LDN for over 4 years, and I still have to remind myself to eat. Some have not had this happen. I guess it's just an individual thing. Go figure? You know....I think I remember reading that a doctor was using LDN for

weight loss...???....so maybe it's just a benefit or

side-effect...depending on your perspective.

I just have two days using LDN and I think I notice a little

difference in my appetite. For me...that's a " benefit " right

now...especially just before Christmas with all these goodies

everywhere.

Thank you for asking this question. I solves a mystery I was just beginning to notice. I started LDN about 10 days ago and could not force myself to finish my usual sized lunch yesterday. Then at dinner I could barely eat half of what was on my plate. I had no idea this could be a side effect, but I’m not complaining. I’ll just have to modify my portion size, I guess.

I too appreciate this information. I have not been eating as much either but didn't realize why. But like some others I can't afford to lose weight. Can't eat too much sugar either and that stuff like Ensure is full of sugars and dairy (or artificial sweetener which is bad.) Anyone have any other suggestions?

WOW SO GLAD I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE. WHAT I HAVE DONE IS CUT OUT ALL THE

JUNK FOOD AND JUST ADJUST MY PORTION SIZES. I DO TRY 2 EAT A SNACK

10AM, 3PM AND SOME TIME AFTER DINNER BEFORE I GO 2 BED. SOMETHING LITE

NOT HEAVY MOST OF THE TIME ITS A PIECE OF FRUIT.

I also have only been on the LDN for two days and stay full. I hear my

stomach growl at times but the desire to eat is gone. I had to force

myself to eat today. Goodness knows that I will benefit from a little

food control this Season! I'm glad others have mentioned this same

thing.

I have had a similar side effect. I started out at 115 and in 4 months, I am down to 106. I was talking to my husband about the potential of it being the LDN. I still eat my normal meals, which have always been healthy, but I don't have the urge to "stress" eat. When I was younger, I had an eating disorder(anorexia and bulimia) and wondered IF LDN is suppose to help heroine addicts get over their addiction, could LDN have a similar effect on eating disorders. With the holidays, I'm not complaining about the weight loss yet. Also, if anyone is thinking it could be other health issues, I have been completely check out by my PCP with blood work etc. Have a great weekend everyone. dx MS 2005 5 months LDN and feeling great!
