I have been using a diabetic diet, not that I am diabetic, but it is working.

In the past six months I have lost 65 pounds, and three dress sizes. The diet

works this way, you eat six small meals, take your usual three and divide

them. I eat a bowl of cereal with soy milk, and an orange, two hours later,

toast, tea and another fruit, two hours later, half a sandwich, a vegetable,

two hours later, the other half of the sandwich, small bowl of soup, fruit,

two hours later, half of the dinner you have prepared, then of course two

hours later the other half. This really has worked for me, I work from home

so have access to the kitchen, fridge and a pantry. But you could do this at

work I am sure. Good luck hope this has helped. Luna Aileen

I find it very hard to believe any of the testimonials for the Adkins diet. I

was on it for 12 weeks and did not lose a pound. I was in heavy ketosis and

became quite worried about my health so I quit. 12 weeks no loss. Jacque

Hi Everyone,

The discussion on weight loss and the various programs has been interesting,

but this list is for toiletries. So I'm asking that you take this private.

Thanks for your co-operation.

It's 'Atkins' and it's a great diet. There is a low -carb recipe list called

something like 'friends of Atkins' and the recipes are great! E-me if you

can't find it-I'll dig it up. Not only do you lose weight on this diet but it

reshapes your body.....Jo Ann

it's Atkins :>

and keep in mind you have to give up sugar for this diet! if you're a good

carnivore, though, it's well worth it.

You mean Atkins perhaps? First it's , then Adkins. Dr. Atkins has

long been a proponent of eating protein and no easily assimilated

carbohydrates. SaraLou

Actually, if you go to the list policies under " files " you will see that

yes, discussions here are centered arount toiletries, toiletry making,

marketing, packaging, etc.

" INAPPROPRIATE TOPICS OF DISCUSSION:

Politics is never an appropriate topic of discussion and will not be

allowed.

Religion does not belong on this list either and will not be allowed.

Certain types of " off-topic " posts are completely inappropriate to this

1. Chain letters of any and all types.

2. Computer virus warnings.

3. Jokes. Unless it pertains to the aspects of making, or using toiletries.

4. Discussions of other list owners, members, their lists or complaints

about this list.

5. Information not related to toiletries... "

Thanks, Pattie...I posted before I read this! The level of spam has been

getting ridiculous not only on this list, but other Egroups lists as well.

I wonder if the merger with had something to do with it?

,

Well, maybe you should be Christian. This is a free country and this

is a toiletries list, so complain about the major off topic

conversation of " lose weight " instead of someones sig line which is a

self expression of their faith. Picky, picky, picky.

God Bless you and Your and regards from Pawnee, OK.
