Guest guest
Hi Bev, copied and pasted this for you - link in next post - Natural treatment options for Bell's palsy Q From M.A., Burnsville, Minn.: Is there anything natural that helps Bell's palsy? I was recently diagnosed with it and, apparently, there isn't very much my doctor has to offer. A Bell's palsy is a facial paralysis that occurs in people 30 to 50 years of age. The cause of this disorder is unknown. Many patients report that the paralysis was preceded by a draft or an upper respiratory infection. Seventy-five percent of patients recover within a few months. Although I have not seen any specific nutritional research for this condition in the scientific literature, I can share some clinical experience. I have used the same dietary supplements that I would recommend for shingles -- fish oil (EPA/DHA), phosphatidylcholine (or lecithin), and L-lysine. I have recently added phosphatidylserine to this regimen, as well as natural antivirals, such as echinacea and glycyrrhizin (from licorice root). With this regimen, I have seen Bell's palsy clear in a matter of two weeks, rather than several months. Guest guest
Thanks I would doubt he`s been exposed to Lyme since we live in San Fran but you never know - I think he`s from the mid west originally. I`ll tell him to check it out. Guest guest
Doesn't matter where one lives in the USA. Have seen whole families with lyme, Just my opinion but, I believe lyme is contagious in certain ways, I believe we can get it via bug bites and vaccinations also. Many animal organs are used as ingredients in vaccinations and there are even human ingredients used in vaccinations, are these animals or human ingredients tested for lyme, I doubt it. I believe a mother with lyme can pass it on to her offspring. Take a look at the ingredients of the flu shot, you'll never want a flu shot after reading what's in it. Lyme is more prevalent than we think.
