I would like advice regarding the interruption of my daughters chelation. She is

25 years old

and has been on chelation( DMSA and ALA) for the past 15 months.

Since then she has developed a fungal condition and has been prescribed a course

of

Fluconazole 200mg for 21 days.

I have ceased chelation for the course of the fungal treatment, and mean to

restart after the

course after the fungal treatment has finished.

Would this gap in chelation cause any problems?

Nope. It's pretty common for us to take breaks periodically, just to rest

the body.

Thanks for the reply.

Would break in chelation of 3 months be too long?

I think you pick up where you left off. In other words, you've pulled out a

certain amount, so that's where your child (or adult) is. Then you start

again and keep pulling out more.

We've taken breaks to do HBOT or right now to work on viral issues and sauna

but we will probably throw a cycle in now and then.

my son recently had to take a chelation break due to strep (got it from his nt

sis). my extremely hyper son seems a little calmer. was on td dmps since 10-05.

thinking of trying ALA and ndf plus.

my son had to recently stop chelation (td dmps every other day) due to strep.

his doc recommended he stop temporarily. we stopped about 2 wks. im just now

beginning to add ndf+ back in (prior, he was on this and td dmps). im concerned

about " re-distribution " but, not sure what to do about it. i have not noticed

my son being any more difficult than things are now.
