Guest guest
Hi Copper deficiency has meant huge, sudden, unprovoked, hard to stop nosebleeds at our house. There are other possible symptoms, of course, but that's what happens here. We have had to supplement a small (RDA) amount of copper daily. I do this away from zinc and molybdenum. I'll try to look up what you might see re: behaviour when I have more time, and I'll let you know what comes up, okay? take care Rene > > anyone know the symptoms of copper deficiency in behavior or otherwise? > and what is recommended for it > TIA > >

I gave my #1 some zinc, and he had a major nosebleed because it caused more copper deficiency than #1 already had. > and what is recommended for it Add copper. Reduce or eliminate supplemental zinc. Guest guest
Consider adding or increasing copper-containing foods like nuts if the individual tolerates them. Guest guest
This is what we use: http://www.iherb.com/store/ProductDetails.aspx?c=Herbs & pid=TWL-01017 and it's cheap, too! :-) Rene > > > > > > Add copper. At the time I was looking for a copper supplement, the only brand at my local health food store was Solaray. It worked well for my #1. Now I see other brands there, so if I was looking for a brand, I would be able to scan several ingredient lists and choose the one with the fewest additives.
