hi all,would anyone knows if it is possible to get ldn with tysabri?

a friend that is getting tysabri asked me this question because of his

neurologist told him that the two med are not in contrast and if taken

together they do not give side effect.

i'm not sure about the answ.to give him.

any info is wellcome.

I don't think you can take these together. The doctor may be wrong.

Hi emiliano,

tysabri blocks the t-helpercells, so they cant get in the brain and

cause damages - theoretical. My Critik: T-Helpercells are neccesary

for the immunereaction, that´s why tysabri are able to cause deadly

sideeffects (in combination with INF Avonex)

LDN should have an impact of the differentiation of these cells, to

help them find out there normal work, help the immunesystem to

understand " self " and " non-self " .

The mode of action of Tysabri and LDN is opposite.

no,i belive it cannot,tysabri is however an immune system supressant,ldn is a imm.syst.booster,the one works in the opposite way of the other
