Guest guest
Hi , I just looked over your supp list, and I think a big part of the problem may be the amount of calcium Even is getting. Our kids need more like 1000 to 1500 mg of calcium per day, especially when they are chelating. While removing toxic metals, chelation also strips the minerals. Most of our kids are caseine free and are getting no calcium from dairy sources. Also, few of them consume the proper foods that furnish the daily requirements of calcium that they need. Noah definately falls into this catagory. He hates the taste of calcium in his drinks. He also hates the gummi chews (unlike the gummi vitamins). My new mission in life is to find a way of delivering enough calcium into this kid as I really worry about the consequences if he continues to be deficient here. I just bought a powdered calcium shake. I'm going to experiment with smoothies using dairy free and gf/cf chocolate. If anyone has any good suggestions out there, I would appreciate them, too. I wanted to try Water Oz. Our DAN! said that it is good, but still not enough. Tried baking it in cookies, but he doesn't eat enough to even put a dent in what he needs. Sooooooo....sugestions for us??? -Trish > > I was wondering if anyone had any thooughts on the following. > > > > Lately, over the past 2 months or so I have been seeing some new behaviors in Evan, not bad, but they are concerned especially in school because he allegedly is constantly engaging in these. I don't see it at home as much, and really don't recall some of them existing at all until about 2 months ago. This does seem to coincide with our DMSA start date. Anyhow, here's what I have been seeing and what I think of them: > > > > 1. chin-pushing - asked about this before; zinc deficiency? will start supplementing with this over the weekend again, as I am slowly reintroducing each supplement this week. - not brand new behavior, about 2 months maybe, but occurring daily > > > > 2. occassional eye-pushing. Will especially do this in darker or very bright places; sunglasses or my husband's glasses will alleviate this issue!!!!!! we are going to see an vision specialist next week! - not brand new behavior, seems to come and go > > > > 3. spitting/raspberries play - yeast, right? ongoing behavior > > > > 4. clearning of throat - some days constantly - could be yeast? or some allergies? actully have gotten much better over the past 2-3 days since ouor allergy treatments through NAET > > > > 5. sitting in chairs - seeing sensory input in rear area. occassional touching/pushing the groin area, not genitals - very new behavior - 3-4 weeks, more intense over the past 2 weeks > > > > 6. squeezing into pillows, rubbing body into pillows - this is not new behavior > > > > > > These are the most pronounced ones - I appreciate any input on these. Could they be chelation related? any other deficiency? > > > > Thanks in advance!! > > > > > > > --------------------------------- > Music Unlimited - Access over 1 million songs.Try it free. > >
