Guest guest
Hi All, After recently posting pics of 's awful rashes on this group's photo albums everyone including myself was thinking it was Vit A toxicity. Well it may well be- but to complicate matters as his rash on his back had cleared up I rubbed his LDN on it last night. Within 1-2 mins he was in AGONY and screaming. He was up crying on and off all night and had to stay home from school today. I have figured out that wherever I have been rubbing it on his legs (up to the knees) arms and back is covered in nasty eczema type rashes. Guess what- none at all where I hadn't been applying it. What a dork I am for not noticing it was the cream. I had checked and checked with the pharmacies (Coastal and Hopewell) to see what was in the cream. Coastal doesn't put as much crap in it- Hopewell needed to fax the ingredients- lots of additives... not good. Anyway, possibly one problem solved. I have pulled it of course and wait to see if the rashes go. As it has always been given when asleep he hasn't been able to TELL me if it hurt. These interventions are not as safe as some of the Doc's like to make out, as I have found out. Sue
Guest guest
Sue, Your last sentence speaks volumes. Our DAN! (and non-DAN!) docs are sometimes learning along with us; especially when they start using the *latest and greatest* intervention on our kids. We have to be willing to make our children guinea pigs in our efforts to heal them. That comes with extra risks. I am so sorry your little guy is hurting. Good for you for figuring it out. Keep us posted on the ingredients in the LDN and what you think might be the offender in your case. If you want, send me a private email and I will forward it to someone I know who has information about this issue. > These interventions are not as safe as some of the Doc's like to > make out, as I have found out. Very true. Pretty much everything has the potential of causing problems for at least a few kids. Glad you figured it out. Dana
