He was nearsighted and had astigmatism. Now he can read street signs

(simple ones like Stop and Yield) and numbers on mailboxes a quarter a mile up

the

road. We'll be driving and he'll say " what number? " I'm looking around for a

Speed Limit Sign or something and he'll say " 27 " and a few seconds later

we'll pass mailbox #27. So he has absolutely no issues with seeing at a

distance now. He amazes us with what he sees and points out to us.

He does still have a muscle issue. When he glances straight down his eyes

come together into a V which they shouldn't. Its muscular not a vision issue she

says we will correct when he's a little older. Maybe his original issues

that were corrected with stabismus surgery were not really muscular at all but

a brain issue, and the reason he turns to a V when he shouldn't is because

his muscles shouldn't have been surgically changed to begin with? who knows

but now we will have to deal with that in a few years.

Was your son nearsighted or farsighted? My son is nearsighted and

they gave him his first glasses rx when he was one year-old. Even

though it was a strong perscription it never helped much. I talking

with behavioral optomitrists, I have been told repeatedly that the

correction is not necessarily a good indicator or what or how well

they see or use their vision. Which would explain why his rxs never

seem to help. I guess that explains why my ADHD daughter (with

20/20 vision) has the same perception problems, etc. as my son

does. Nearsightedness typically gets progressively worse and

stabilizes in the teen years. My son's rx has gotten about two

diopters better every six months since starting biomed. He still

has severe side-glancing. He is still very low in Vit A and if I

could figure out a way to get his Vit A level up, maybe his vision

would be more functinal. Anyway, I agree that biomed can certainly

improve their vision. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I'm not really sure because it wasn't an attribute I concentrated on looking

for changes in when we started. We dove right in to supplements. I was new

and not fully informed and sometimes added 2-3 together. Now I know better

but then I didn't so I'm not exactly sure what did it. We were on the

supplements Andy Cutler recommends and chelating with DMSA and ALA at the time

when

that stopped and he came out of his glasses.

My son's side glancing became more manageable with about 30,000 IU

of A/day, but became almost a non-issue when I did the Virastop and

OLE. I can't tell you why, as the OLE has such broad application.

I also noticed that it decreased when I used Uva Ursi a while back

for a few days. So, it may have been yeast, bacteria, or virus that

was egging it on. We still see it a bit, but it doesn't interfere

with his life like it used to.

My son has been on over 30,000 IU of Vit A/Day for over six months

and his Vit A level hasn't changed. We have seen no decrease in

this side-glancing. Dr. Megson just told me to " double his CLO "

but I told his nurse to have her look at his chart to see how high

his dose has been and I never heard back so I will ask again at his

next visit. We also did the high dose A protocol last June... So

frustrating. Where is it all going?

Have you tried OLE? We have done the high-dose A, CLO, etc. We

didn't have a huge problem with side glancing, but I would maybe see

it briefly once or twice a day. It has been completely eliminated

with OLE so for her it seems that it was viral related.

Not other than the recent OLE in Liver Life. It is next on my list

of things to do!! Maybe this will be it! Could the virus explain

why his Vit A level can't be increased? (He wasn't vaccinated) He

has a huge problem with it. He primary way of viewing is side-

glancing.

thanks!

I would certainly try it. Even if he wasn't vaccinated he could

still have viral issues if his immune system isn't up to par -which

as you know is a big problem for our kiddos.

I hope it works for you!

My #4 had one eye that wandered out. I lost my insurance so could not

do the exercises and/or surgery that the opth wanted to do. Instead,

I corrected the problem with biomedical. I wrote what she needed here

I gave my son 100,000 IU per day for about that long, with no changes.

>>Dr. Megson just told me to " double his CLO "

I would be concerned about vitamin D toxicity with that much CLO. How

are his vitamin D levels?

We just had his Vit D level checked and it was within range.

Then I would not give " high doses " of CLO, because of the potential

for vitamin D toxicity. Give maybe 10,000 IU vitamin A as CLO, and

the balance as something else.
