Chiropractic can help. I've seen a child's x-ray with a very noticable curve and one taken a yr later after adjustments every 2 weeks that was nearly straigt. Guest guest
Yes, it is related, I have heard. Can't give the details, but probably has to do with disrupted mineral transport. My son, 12 has it too, same situation exactly...we are to watch it. We have found a good cranial sacral osteopath, and hope that will help nudge it in the right direction. It also helps with other symptoms. best, Kate > > Anyone have any problems with scoliosis in a mercury toxic kid about > puberty age? Trying to see if there is any connection. Guest guest
Thanks. I was thinking of the chiropractor..I have read they can help assist things with growing in the right direction. Or at least lessen the curve. I just find it so odd, that she was fine a year ago. Very weird. But she does have deranged minerals. > > > > Anyone have any problems with scoliosis in a mercury toxic kid about > > puberty age? Trying to see if there is any connection. Guest guest
I am guessing she might have been. I have a lot of metal fillings, and I was so sick when I carried her. She is almost 11, so she went through the full thimerosal vaccine era, and then had metal fillings in some of her baby teeth. I had a hard time delivering her as well. And her hair test shows mercury poisoning. > > > > Anyone have any problems with scoliosis in a mercury toxic kid about > > puberty age? Trying to see if there is any connection. It can definitely be associated with metal/mercury toxicity. Dana
Guest guest
Hi Dana I have noticed in the children i have worked with that their posture is often not right especially the neck and spine, there bones seem fragile! it's like the head is to heavy and they lean forward rather than stand upright and straight, my mum suffers from very severe scoliosis so much so that her spine has collapsed onto her lungs making it difficult to breathe, my mum was born with this condition and it has got progressively worse she also has alot of fillings and so does my dad who suffers from ulcers, severe stomach disorders, diabetes he has also has alot of fillings. I feel that the symptoms of mercury toxicity have caused my arthritis and maybe if left untreated this leads to scoliosis. I think mercury causes alot more damage than just the autism and maybe autism is much more complex than previously documented. Just my thoughts. thanks zyan Message Received: May 10 2006, 03:57 PM From: " danasview " Cc: Subject: [ ] Re: Scoliosis question > > Anyone have any problems with scoliosis in a mercury toxic kid about > puberty age? Guest guest
Jan, I would also say that this is related to the general toxic conditions that our children have endured. As 1 of 5, our 21 year old seemed to 'curl up' as she went through puberty, developing a hunch shoulder appearing look. Much like Zyan says, she looks as if her head is too heavy. Genetic - pooh! She has almost 70 first cousins. None exibit this. Neither do any aunts, uncles, grandparents or any relative that I can reacall and we are from a huge extended family . > > > > Anyone have any problems with scoliosis in a mercury toxic kid about > > puberty age? Guest guest
FWIW... My two oldest kids, ages 18.9 and 14.4, both have scoliosis. Neither are autistic, but both have been diagnosed with attention deficit, and the 14.4 year old is diagnosed w/communication disorder. I've also often wondered if the scoliosis isn't heavy metal related. Kamron > > > > > > Anyone have any problems with scoliosis in a mercury toxic kid > about > > > puberty age? Guest guest
I have some bone deformities. In hindsight I think what happened with me is the mercury induced gluten intolerance. The gluten intolerance interfered with the absorption of Ca and vitamin D. And that led to some bone problems. Guest guest
They've never had a hair test. Neither have any amalgam fillings. Plasma cysteine tests showed both of them out of range, on the low side. I read this group mainly for my other two kids, ages 5.7 and 3.9, who are both autistic. I suspect all four are heavy metal toxic, but the overall load and age of initial injury is different for each child. > What do their hair tests look like? Guest guest
Thank you everyone for sharing your information. It does reinforce my gut that mercury has done something to her bones. I guess, in essence, how could it not if it interferes with minerals. Well, despite the doctors " wait and see " what happens, I think we are going to a chiropractor or osteopath and assist it in uncurving! I do know some adults who had this as a child, and if not treated it does get worse. > > > > > > > > > > Anyone have any problems with scoliosis in a mercury toxic kid > > > about > > > > > puberty age? Guest guest
Zyan, That would go along here. I never thought of my daughter's posture but she does have a hard time sitting straight, it causes her back to ache a lot and with her overbit..which is usually indicative of a jetting forward of the skull/neck..this would make sense. I have also been told she has sway back and flat feet. > > > > Anyone have any problems with scoliosis in a mercury toxic kid about > > puberty age? Trying to see if there is any connection. I have noticed recently, that certain days are better than others, so I am now experimenting to determine which of the supplements I take are the ones that are helping.
