Guest guest
Susie, When I had the arthroscopic procedure it was totally different, since the arthroscopic was lazer it wasn't invasive, so I didn't have to deal with areas that were cut open to heal. But, the day after surgery I took my bandaging off to see what they did...and it started to bleed heavily. Because I didn't know what was going on (and didn't find out until my two week check up) I didn't feel right. Over here it is quite common for when someone has surgery that the family does not sit around and wait to talk to the surgeon. So, it was quite shocking news by the time I did see the operating surgeon to be told that I needed a new knee as soon as possible. When xrays were taken it could be seen that the menisces was torn but not how much arthroses I had. I didn't even know it was so severe until I went to the surgeon to see exactly what went on during and after the surgery. And silly me, I really thought that because I have had alot of surgeries (none of them affecting bones being cut) I thought I would be able to recuperate and get back to a normal routine. So as soon as I could I had the TKR. Wrong move. But it is done and am trying to go forward. So, I think in stating all that, it really depends on the individuals circumstances, how they deal with surgeries, different medicines (given or not given). When you had your TKR you stated that it was easier than when you had your THR. Would you mind stating why? I have heard that healing from a hip replacement is easier than a knee one because of the placement of the weight. Is that true? Val Hi Val, Are the two differance operations the same for when you heal ? Is the pain the same ? Well you take care . Susie What are the most popular cars? Guest guest
I don't know if this marriage will work. >>> Ya never truly know~ everyone puts odds against hubby & I too... saying we were too young and to much the opposite of one another (boy ain't that the TRUTH! LOL ) But... almost 16 yrs. later... we're still happily aggravating one another! Sometimes the ones you think won't make it do better then the couples that look to be the perfect match. Only time will truly tell what will be. I sign up for Section 8 waiting to hear from them. >>> Hope how soon your getting the news you've been waiting for and it's not long before you have a place of your own. It's good that you have someplace to stay with others too help look after you though... so count your blessings. I had Thanksgivings with my two kids so that was nice. I hope you had a nice Thanksgiving ? >>> Happy you got to spend it with both of them. Is your daughter slowly coming around about things and has started back to talking & visiting with you regularly ? As for me... Thanksgiving was pretty good~ other then eatting WAY TOO MUCH! LOL It's the holiday I love 2 hate! You just know not to dress up... need something that expands. LOL We were certainly blessed.... I cooked for 2 days and had to rest for 2... but was well worth it. Glad 2 hear U had a good one too Susie.
Guest guest
Hi Susie! I use raw milk with my children as well. Have been using it the past couple of years. My children seem to tolerate it pretty well too. Glad to hear that you have found it!!!! Do you have the book, Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon? It is very inoformative if you get a chance to buy it. I would give my children the kefir, but neither of them will drink it. I should have started with the probiotics and enzymes a long time ago because although the raw milk has both of these, it is not enough when it comes to a child or adult with health issues. All the best to you and your family!! Ginger Mom to Ginnie 6(mild autism) and on(almost 4 with DD)
