I think it would give the baby good immunity, but nobody's willing to risk it

the last study showed that it didn't get passed on, but kept the mother healthy, no?

if I were a woman, I'd continue it; if I was going to have another child, I'd ask it's mother to go on it

but that's just me :)

Who did the study? Was it a double blind study?

i'm a nurse, work with the babies- we have a book at work that lists the medications that are safe to take while breasfeeding, and it says that Naltrexone is safe..........it also says that its risky to take while pregnant but safe to take while breastfeeding, this is a reliable source, and they are talking about 50 mg,so i would think a low dose is fine..

I've been taking LDN since 2002. Gave birth in 2004 and still nurse my

almost three year old. He is a healthy, intelligent, ridiculously

darling child. I followed my instincts'...you should as well. good

luck to you!

Katrina, did you keep taking your LDN while pregnant, as well as

nursing? The implication of your post is yes, but you don't actually

say.

Your child sounds wonderful.

No, actually. I stopped as soon as I found out I was pregnant and

began the day I returned from the hospital. I still had a prety bad

flare-up after birth, but switched to liquid LDN and dropped my dose to

1.5. that seemed to do the trick. Now I self-dose depending on how I

feel.

I also was told by the national hotline that naltrexone was safe to BF

with, and that was at 50mgs. So I figured >5mg wouldn't hurt. And it

hasn't. Seriously, he like the healthiest kid ever! (although that

could have something to do with never being vaccinated)
